Alta Moda Uses Celebrities for Models
This year, Jennifer Lopez and Helen Mirren were part of the event as well as rapper Saweetie and singer Ciara. Alta Moda isn’t just for the older set. The brand also embraces the youth as well. The fashion show featured plenty of short dresses and several children of Hollywood celebrities modeled for the event.
Sean “Diddy” Combs brought his three daughters to the event. Chance Combs along with twins Jessie James and D’Lila modeled designer gowns. Monica Bellucci’s daughter Deva Cassel strutted the catwalk wearing a magenta tulle gown while Luka Bale, actor Christian Bale’s daughter, wore a corset dress of cream tulle embroidered with crystals and organza flowers.

Alta Moda Celebrates Italian Culture
The theme of the 2021 Alta Moda was Commedia Dell’arte, featuring the professional Italian theaters of the past. Many of the gowns represented characters such as Cassanova and Doge. The serpentine patterns on the floor of St. Mark’s inspired many of the designs. With the colorful Murano glass also inspired the fashion house.

Alta Moda Invites A-Listers
Dolce & Gabbana’s Alta Moda has always invited the elite to its fashion show. Attendees of the 2021 event included Kris Jenner and Kourtney Kardashian and Doja Cat and Kitty Spencer. More than 400 members of the super-rich attended the event and listened to Jennifer Hudson sing an inspiring rendition of Nessum Dorma from the opera Turandot.
