Orange is Hot for Spring and Summer

I have definitely been obsessing over the color orange this season which you can see from my own home decorating. If you look up the color psychology of orange you will find:

  • Made up of yellow and red color which both are considered energetic colors.
  • It gives you the feeling of warmth, like summer, and makes you feel excitement and enthusiasm.
  • It is an attention grabber and perfect for popping color in a room or outdoor living space.

I would agree with all of the above. It is so difficult for me to be indoors working and look outside at my chaise lounges and not want to go out and play!  It is like the day is calling to me.

The bright chaise lounge cushions really pop and become a focal point to this outdoor living space. This Sunbrella fabric is a great choice for outdoor upholstery, it carries a 5 – year warranty against fading.

The white adjustable head pillows with the orange monogramming really look sharp and give the chairs a custom design look. Because every one of my family members initials are, PB I custom designed my logo and knew no one would complain.

Adding Accents of Orange with Landscaping

Orange is such a powerful color that hints of it amongst your foliage will really add brilliance to your home.

Crotons are a good choice to create curb appeal as many shades of warm colors are in their leaves. The crotons, give a line of demarcation between the vine and the hedge.

The Bird of Paradise offers beautiful orange hues and is the perfect backdrop to the chaise lounges in my outdoor living space.
