I was in awe at the vibrant colors seen in the trees and flowers that seemed to be exploding with blooms. The Hampton’s in the summer is so beautiful and everywhere I looked I could not get enough of its color!

The flowers made me feel like I had just entered the land of OZ.

On my list of things to do was to visit the award winning wineries which aligned our drive in.

Eager to get started Lee and I Checked out Raphael’s. Owner, John Petrocelli named the winery in honor of his father to continue a century-old family tradition of wine making.

The next winery we visited was Croteaux Vineyards, a quaint wine tasting room located in a garden.

I loved this little guy who greeted us in the doorway!

Croteaux Vineyard, located on the North Fork of Long Island is known for their sparkling Rosé and their garden is the perfect backdrop, which adds to the experience.

During our wine tasting, we enjoyed a wonderful cheese plate but if you’re wanting to have a full lunch experience, the menu looked yummy!
The bad thing about touring the wineries of the Hampton’s is you can only hit a couple of places before it would become dangerous to continue driving. So, it was off to Montauk, located at the very tip of the South Fork peninsula of Long Island.

I really enjoyed the dining experiences in Montauk. Nothing says vacay like oysters and beer, with a water view!

Montauk water views are beautiful and peaceful.

Anyone who visits Montauk needs to visit the Montauk Point Light House, nicknamed “The End”.

This lighthouse is the oldest in New York. This national historic landmark has been part of Long Island’s land and seascape for over 200 years. The lighthouse still serves as an active aid to navigation.

We had a panoramic view of the island from the top of the old lighthouse.
Even though Montauk is secluded there is always something happening in town. While we were there, they hosted a music festival.

The sounds of musicians playing music filled the streets of Montauk; it was such a treat!

Our roaming adventure through the Hamptons and Montauk was a great kick off to our summer FUN!
Looks beautiful, you should see those vineyards amidst growing season, they’re lush!
