There are numerous ways to incorporate an industrial design into your decor.  Take a look at these wall-mounted doors that bring an industrial and old fashioned feel into an otherwise modern space.

Wall Mounted Doors

The trend of using old fashioned hardware in modern homes is on the rise and the use of industrial, overhead barn door hardware is breathing new life into flush solid core doors as well as custom wood designs with glass insets.

JELD-WEN sponsored doors in four show homes at the recent International Builders Show in Orlando, Florida. There were four separate and intriguing barn-door executions.

For the National Association of Home Builder’s (NAHB) New American Home, the beautiful contemporary glass door image just to the left of the solid white barn door was also hung with barn door hardware at the end of a long hallway creating an impressive artistic statement on what could have been a boring 16′ corridor.

Also, in one of the BUILDER Concept Homes, the ebony doors positioned on a room corner, are a dramatic way to open a space.

Whether dramatic or simple in white, this new trend is catching on as a way to add personal style and save on usable space.

JELD-WEN does not sell the hardware, but JELD-WEN Windows & Doors is a global company and has been designing and manufacturing all types of doors for over 50 years.
