In a world that stops for no one, function is becoming just as important as style. However, being a generation that has it all, we are not willing to sacrifice style on behalf of comfort.  Hence, the look we call “Casual Chic”.

Jessica LoRocco from Foxs.com has shared a few staple pieces with us that embody the casual chic revolution, being both functional and stylish.

Layering, Layering, Layering!

One of the definite fashion trends I’ve been seeing in casual chic attire this year is a trend towards basics like cashmere cardigans and layering sweaters.

Fitted for Comfort

Seamless one-size items like Niki Biki have also been hot sellers, along with leggings in particular this winter. Comfort has definitely been in the forefront of many of our customers’ minds even while aiming to remain stylish.

Statement Pieces

Bring chic into casual by dressing up otherwise basic outfits with a statement piece handbag or more elegant fashion jewelry has allowed our customers to choose more basic pieces and still make the fashion statement they’re used to.

Casual Chic Must-Haves

When updating your wardrobe this season be sure to include the tried and true items that are both versatile and timeless. These items include: your favorite tee, a warm and comfortable leather jacket, calf high boots, jeans that fit just right, and a comfortable cardigan.

To spruce up these staples consider pairing them with more daring items, like a colorful scarf, a large, printed handbag, or a statement ring, earrings or necklace.
